Elizabeth Ann Morton Odean Martin
6-10-1930 to 3-22-2024
Born in and passed from Evansville, IN
I follow my immediate family members and one grandchild. I have had a very fun-filled good bad life but, it was never indifferent. I knew what I liked and what I didn’t like. If it wasn’t mine to do I didn’t do it. My career life and my volunteer life was varied. Music and the Arts have enriched my life providing many opportunities to explore their rewards and challenges. I have tried to be a good friend and as a result I have been blessed with many. My main goal in life was to be charming. Whether or not I was depends on who you ask! Another one of my life goals was to travel around the world. This was kindled by a family day trip to Chicago via the railroad at the age of four. I did make it halfway, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Sydney, Australia. Life on this planet has been thrilling and well worth doing. The most amazing thing of it all was the Power of Kindness.
Elizabeth is survived by her two grandchildren and her two daughters who claim Evansville as their home. They all say, “Elizabeth Loved Beauty and she was the best grandmother and mother ever!”
