Charles Jasper Nance, 86, of Evansville, passed away at 7:52 am, Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh.
Charles was born April 6, 1926 in Equality, KY to Baird and Bertha (Neal) Nance. He was a machine operator for Swift Packing Co. and Coca-Cola, where he retired from in 1990. Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by: Daughters, Marcia Reynolds of Evansville Donna Watt (Bob) of Mt. Vernon, IL Sons, Randy Nance (Charlotte) of Greenwood, IN Dennis Nance (Michelle) of Spring, TX Steve Nance of Evansville Tim Nance (Becky) of Boonville, IN Sister-in-Law, Pat Nance of Evansville Cousin, Gordon Nance of Madisonville, KY 16 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Eileen Nance, in 1992 and son-in-law, David Reynolds.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - 5330 Washington Avenue, the family will be officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 pm until 7 pm, Wednesday, June 13, 2012 and from 9 am until service time, Thursday, at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel.
