Emma Mae Siesky

Emma M. Siesky, 95, of Evansville passed away at 2:50 am, Saturday, April 28, 2012 at VNA Charlier Hospice Care Center.

Emma was born June 5, 1916 in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. She was a 30 year member of Simpson United Methodist Church and the 122 Class. Emma was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed baking and taking care of her family.

She is survived by sons, Charles Siesky (Jan), Larry Siesky (Sally) and Alan Siesky (Carole), all of Evansville, 4 grandchildren, Brent, Chris, Lane and Todd Siesky and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Roy A. Siesky in 2003.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and nurses on the 4100 Unit of St. Mary’s Medical Center and to the staff of VNA Charlier Hospice Care Center for their care and compassion.

A Celebration of Emma’s life will be held at 11 am, Monday, April 30, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - 5330 Washington Avenue with Reverend Dennis Adams officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 pm until 7 pm, Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel and again from 10 am until time of service at 11 am, Monday.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to VNA Charlier Hospice Care Center, 610 E. Walnut St., Evansville, IN 47708.
